Camera Critters~ The Little Butterflies

The last Sunday in September was an enjoyable one for me with pleasant weather and some new photo subjects in the garden. As soon as I ventured out with the camera I spotted this Pearl Crescent but I could only capture it while it was sunning in the grass.



I believe that this is an Eastern Tailed Blue. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this or any ID here.





Gray Hairstreak





Bees







A dewey Ladybird Beetle or Ladybug



A wasp of some sort



These bugs are everywhere in the garden but I'm not sure of an ID.



In a recent post over at clay and limestone there was some discussion about pokeweed. This is Mockingbird heaven- Wax Myrtle AND pokeweed,lol.

    Hi Littlewing, what a wonderful name, and your captures of the little wings is marvelous! The smaller flutterbys are difficult to catch being still, you have done a wondrous job. :-)
