Camera Critters~ The Little Butterflies

The last Sunday in September was an enjoyable one for me with pleasant weather and some new photo subjects in the garden. As soon as I ventured out with the camera I spotted this Pearl Crescent but I could only capture it while it was sunning in the grass.



I believe that this is an Eastern Tailed Blue. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this or any ID here.

A wasp of some sort



These bugs are everywhere in the garden but I'm not sure of an ID.



In a recent post over at clay and limestone there was some discussion about pokeweed. This is Mockingbird heaven- Wax Myrtle AND pokeweed,lol.

Camera Critters~ A Dog's Day

September 11, 2001 is a day that will remembered forever for a terrible act of terrorism. It was also my sweet little dog's very first birthday. Here he is on his
9th birthday.

The Wax Myrtles in the garden are home to Mockingbirds. They watch over everything I do out there,lol.



I took lots of butterfly pics over the holiday weekend. I like this one of a Black Swallowtail for its different angle.
