For Blooming Friday this week our hostess Katarina had two examples of flowers aging beautifully from first opened to the end of its life cycle. I also have two examples of bloom cycles from my garden. Both have a long season of bloom with the first photos coming from July/Early August and the last two photos taken this morning.
Rudbeckia triloba
Salvia uliginosa, Bog Sage

Lovely blog - glad I found you!
ReplyDeleteRudbeckia triloba is a great flower isn't it. I love to see the goldfinches on the seedheads. Beautiful shots of the sky-blue sage.
ReplyDeleteEn fin blogg som jag gärna kommer åter till.
ReplyDeleteRudbeckian är otroligt vacker och som du visar även när det blommat ut.
Kanske är det vackert men jag blir mest ledsen. Här har frosten tagit allt.
ReplyDeleteI just love the dark seedheads of the rudbeckia - very ornamental!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great weekend!
Katarina
Fina blommor som fortfarande kämpar och håller sig kvar. Beautiful flowers that are fighting against the autumn. /Margareta
ReplyDeleteI love the stages of the Rudbeckia. I also love the delicate light blue color of your Salvia. Thank you so much for sharing.
